@CURT_EISAMAN
The best part of this interview is that it was sponsored by an AI company.

There is zero chance the people in charge will limit or even attempt to limit AI & i mean zero

@JohnBoondock
A.I is basically like a bunch of engineers building a plane, forcing the entire world to get on for a flight.... and then building the landing gear while flying. And they are 70% sure they can get the landing gear correct.

Appreciate how direct this guy is in addressing what AI actually is.

That AI cloud ad in the middle of this was hilarious 😁

The engineers building artificial intelligence don’t fully understand how it works. Many people think AI is carefully engineered. In reality, it’s closer to something being grown and these systems are evolving in ways even their creators struggle to predict. AI researcher and former LLM builder Connor Leahy explains what’s happening inside the labs: why the alignment problem remains unsolved, why the race to AGI is accelerating, and why the people leading it may be moving faster than they understand. We also discuss AI risk, Silicon Valley’s power dynamics, the Department of Defense’s growing involvement and the rise of “AI psychosis.”
