Jeffrey Sachs at the EU Parliament

@fabiolippi13
One of the best and most truthful statements I've ever heard coming from an EU meeting. Great stuff. Kudos to Jeffrey Sachs!

@seanbohane7534
This is a man that should be on every news network around the world

@LeroyYue
"In America, if you don't like the other side, you don't negotiate with them, you try to overthrow them."

Jeffrey Sachs' discusses NATO's eastward expansion since 1999, Russia’s opposition to it, and broader U.S. foreign policy strategies, including regime change operations. His speech criticizes U.S. interventionist policies, describing how they are driven by geopolitical dominance rather than diplomacy. Sachs argues that Ukraine's conflict with Russia was avoidable if Ukraine had remained neutral, and criticizes European nations for aligning too closely with U.S. interests instead of engaging directly with Russia. The influence of Israel on U.S. Middle East policy is also discussed, in that U.S. foreign decisions are significantly shaped by Israeli interests. Lastly, he calls for diplomacy and mutual respect in international relations rather than provocative or aggressive policies.

Singapore remembers Lee Kuan Yew

@JanineNgthegeek
"Do you believe in free press?"
"I believe in truth"
😭😭😭That was Powerful!!!!!!

@heavymetalrox268
This guy was decades ahead of the rest of the world, a once in a century, maybe millenia, type of leader. It's not even a freakin debate anymore. We are literally living his prediction of the decline of the western world right now. Singapore is incredibly lucky this man saved the Island.

@sksim6154
LKY was a Cambridge educated lawyer who graduated with first class honours. Very few, if any, Western journalists had the intellectual heft and superb command of English that LKY had.

@CKO88
Growing up I did not understand the issues between Mr. Lee and western Media, and many of his policies and decisions much. Now I do, and do appreciate majority of them. Most importantly I learned that Western media really lies, and lies without shame! And it’s getting out of hand!

Lee Kuan Yew (born Harry Lee Kuan Yew; 16 September 1923 – 23 March 2015), often referred to by his initials LKY, was a Singaporean statesman, politician, and lawyer who served as the Minister Mentor between 2004 to 2011, Senior Minister between 1990 to 2004 and first prime minister of Singapore from 1959 to 1990.

Anonymous attacked Sony in 2011

@Doggo_is_sus
Imagine looking at a guy, alone, who can easily break your OS but instead of hiring him to make your OS better, you sue him and fail miserably.

@bobbobbob321
Sony's reach with that lawsuit was genuinely terrifying, being able to sue anyone who even just watched his video. How could anybody in their right mind uphold that kind of behavior? The mere fact that it was suggested and allowed in court is disgusting.

@StormFive
This is a masterclass in journalism. Thank you for putting this together.

George Francis Hotz (born October 2, 1989), alias "geohot", is an American security hacker, entrepreneur, and software engineer. He is known for developing iOS jailbreaks, reverse engineering the PlayStation 3, and for the subsequent lawsuit brought against him by Sony. In April 2011, The Sony legal extended their lawfare against his social media and paypal accounts, tracking down supporters who had donated money and blocking their accounts.

This action attracted the attention of hacker group "anonymous", who then proceeded to shut down the Sony and PlayStation websites. They announced that this was only a warning. That purchasers of Sony PS3 hardware had every right to modify the machine, and to write new software for the purposes of customizing their machine. When Sony legal did not comply, a faction "doxxed" the Sony executive team and boardmembers, revealing their home addresses.

Hotz attempted to de-escalate the situation, signing an agreement with Sony to never again hack the PS3 or any other Sony product. But Anonymous did not stand down, they shutdown the internal Sony corporate server network, including the PlayStation network. The data breach released 77 million PlayStation customer accounts. Comment files were left with their signature tagline "WE ARE LEGION"
